The simplest way to help, whether it’s with a one-off gift or a regular donation is to give online. Just visit our secure JustGiving page, enter the amount you want to give and follow the instructions.
You are welcome to send us a cheque, made payable to The Solicitors’ Charity. Please make sure you complete a donation form and send this with your cheque to The Solicitors’ Charity, 1 Jaggard Way, London SW12 8SG.
If you would like to donate regularly by setting up a standing order, complete the standing order form and send it to The Solicitors’ Charity.
If you are a UK taxpayer, make sure you tick the Gift Aid box – the charity can receive an extra 25% from HMRC on top of your donation.
We are fortunate to have the support of hundreds of law firms across England and Wales. Some firms make a gift of £60 per annum for each partner, associate and consultant. Others keep their gift flexible enough to reflect the size of their business; in these cases, donations are made to represent each equity member or partner. Whatever the size of your firm, your support is vital to help ensure that no solicitor is unsupported in times of need or crisis.
A gift in your will can help us transform the future for many solicitors and their families. We understand that loved ones come first, but a gift in your will means you leave a lasting legacy of support for those who have led their lives in the law. Any amount you leave to The Solicitors’ Charity will help us to make a vital difference for people in need.
If your employer participates in the Give As You Earn scheme, you can donate from your monthly salary. Ask your employer for details.
