When I took over the helm of The Solicitors’ Charity in summer 2019, I had a clear mission and remit to make sure that the organisation continued to do what it has done best since 1858: support all solicitors across England & Wales in times of need or crisis. The last year has been one of the biggest crises to hit our profession but it has also provided an important opportunity to understand better what solicitors need by way of support now and in the future.
All in all, the events of the last year have led to some significant changes in how we engage, and Solicitors, for the Bounce Back sets out ‘where next’ for The Solicitors’ Charity. I hope what you read will help to engage you in what we are trying to achieve as we support sustained positive change in the lives of solicitors facing tough times.
