Come along and hear us at HTF Legal’s Wills & Probate Conference 2026
We are delighted to share that Anita McCallum, Director of The Solicitors’ Charity, has been invited to speak at the upcoming Wills & Probate Conference 2026, hosted by HTF Legal Limited.
Taking place at the Hilton Leeds City, the conference brings together professionals from across the private client sector for a day of insight, discussion and networking focused on the evolving challenges facing wills and probate practitioners.
Supporting the profession that supports others
Anita will be speaking about the work of The Solicitors’ Charity and the vital role it plays in supporting solicitors past and present, as well as their dependants, during times of hardship.
Private client practitioners are often at the forefront of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. From questions of capacity and vulnerability to the emotional complexities of bereavement and dispute, the work can be both professionally demanding and personally impactful.
The Solicitors’ Charity exists to ensure that when members of the profession face their own challenges – whether financial difficulty, ill health, mental health pressures or unexpected life events – they have somewhere to turn for confidential and compassionate support.
A shared commitment to care
The themes of this year’s conference – including risk management, capacity, fraud prevention, and adapting to sector change – closely reflect many of the pressures being experienced across the profession. Anita’s session will highlight:
- Who the charity supports and how
- The growing need for wellbeing and financial assistance across the profession
- How firms and individuals can play a role in strengthening the profession’s safety net
We are incredibly grateful to HTF Legal for the invitation and for creating a platform to discuss not only regulatory and technical developments, but also the wellbeing and resilience of the legal community itself.
Looking forward to connecting
The event provides a valuable opportunity to connect with practitioners from across the region, exchange insight and continue important conversations about vulnerability, professional responsibility and sector support.
We look forward to meeting attendees in Leeds and to building new relationships with those who share our commitment to supporting the profession that supports everyone else. If you are attending the conference, please do come and say hello!
