Global Law Firm, CMS, supports The Solicitors’ Charity through its Social Impact Fund
We’re very grateful to have received a donation from global law firm, CMS, through its Social Impact Fund. It will help us continue to support solicitors and their dependants when times get tough.
Why support like this matters
Solicitors are used to being the people others rely on. But behind every solicitor is a person, and sometimes that person needs support too – with their health, their finances, their career or their family life. More people are reaching out to us. In 2025, we awarded £1.27 million to solicitors, and we’ve seen three times more enquiries compared with 2023.
What your support makes possible
Our Case Managers work with each person to put together confidential, tailored support across emotional, physical, professional, and financial wellbeing. Donations like this one help fund that vital support.
For one person, it might mean a course of therapy sessions, usually more quickly than the NHS can provide. For another, it could be career coaching to help them earn a living again after a break or redundancy, or a monthly living allowance to enable someone to get through a tough period.

Support from firms like CMS means we can be there when it matters most, and we’re very grateful for it.”

Many firms have social impact, community or charitable funds, and there are lots of worthwhile causes to choose from. We’d simply ask you to consider one that supports your own profession. We’ve been supporting solicitors since 1858, and we’re the only charity with solicitors as its sole focus.
