19,000+ solicitors walk for justice as the Wheel of Fortune makes a comeback for The Solicitors’ Charity
This year’s London Legal Walk was truly one for the history books! On Tuesday 17th June, more than 19,000 solicitors and legal professionals from across the country laced up their walking shoes for the 21st annual event – making it the largest London Legal Walk ever.
Organised by the London Legal Support Trust and proudly supported by The Solicitors’ Charity, the 10K walk united the legal community walking to raise funds for legal advice centres in London and the South East to improve access to justice for those least able to afford it.
The return of the Wheel of Fortune
Back by popular demand, The Solicitors’ Charity’s famous Wheel of Fortune made its return to our stand! Walkers and runners queued up to spin the wheel for a chance to win a host of prizes and the smiles speak for themselves.
Connecting and supporting the legal community
The Solicitors’ Charity team was on hand to connect with participants, share information, and offer support. We highlighted our various services, from mental health resources to career coaching through to tailored wellbeing support for solicitors and their families.
Nick Gallagher, CEO of The Solicitors’ Charity, shared: “It was inspiring to see so many legal professionals come together for such an important cause. We are proud to support solicitors and remain committed to promoting wellbeing at the biggest gathering of solicitors in one place in the year, as those assembled volunteer to support access to justice.”
