Lawsight: Our trusted partner in supporting solicitors’ emotional wellbeing
As a solicitor, we understand well that you’re no stranger to the pressures of a demanding profession. Whether it’s tight deadlines, high-stakes cases, or balancing work and personal life, the legal field often comes with unique challenges that can impact your emotional wellbeing. That’s why The Solicitors’ Charity is proud to connect you with a carefully chosen network of wellbeing partners, including trusted organisations like Lawsight, to offer the support you need when it matters most.
Why Lawsight is different
Lawsight is made up of a team of highly qualified practitioners who understand the legal world inside and out. Founded by Claire and Satpal — experienced psychotherapists with a combined 20 years of expertise and backgrounds in law (Our Story – Lawsight) — Lawsight brings together psychotherapy, neuroscience, and first-hand understanding of life in law to offer meaningful and customised support for your emotional wellbeing. Their mission is simple: to help individuals thrive by improving their emotional wellbeing, both personally and professionally.
Claire Jacques from Lawsight confirmed: “We know that our partnership with The Solicitors’ Charity is working really well and that their clients are benefiting from our approach. We understand the workings of law firms and know the pressures that people may be under.
Equally we know that challenges arising both within and outside of the workplace can affect emotional wellbeing and the ability to function day to day. I’m so pleased that we can offer this tailored service, using our specialist knowledge of the sector, and make a positive difference to individuals”.
How Lawsight supports solicitors’ emotional wellbeing
Lawsight’s approach goes beyond traditional talking therapy by offering a synthesis of psychotherapy, a trauma-informed perspective and practical strategies from the field of neuroscience. They combine this with their own experience of life in the law which means that from day one you can feel heard and understood.
One-to-one emotional wellbeing support
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, burnout, feelings of self-doubt or imposter syndrome, Lawsight provides a safe and confidential space to explore your difficulties. Their therapists work with you to develop a deeper understanding of your emotional patterns, helping you build resilience and a clearer perspective for the future.
Support through life and work transitions
Major life changes and navigating day to day issues can be difficult — returning to work after having a baby, navigating a promotion, or stepping into a leadership role. Lawsight helps solicitors manage these transitions with emotional wellbeing support and practical strategies informed by neuroscience, making sure that you’re able to thrive during these moments.
Why The Solicitors’ Charity partners with Lawsight

Abi Stidston, Head of Wellbeing & Grants at The Solicitors’ Charity reflects: “We know that there are clients who really benefit from working with Lawsight therapists who have an in-depth understanding of the law sector and can truly empathise. We are delighted that we can offer this niche service to clients needing an emotional boost because of life events and/or work pressures. And eligible clients who are considered suitable for treatment, after an initial assessment, are fully funded by the charity”.
