The Solicitors’ Charity heads to the Cambridgeshire JLD and CYPG Annual Charity Ball
We’re excited to be attending this year’s CJLD and CYPG Annual Charity Ball on Saturday 26 September at Downing College, Cambridge.
The annual ball is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the junior legal community, bringing together the next generation of solicitors for an evening of networking, celebration and fundraising.
We’re particularly looking forward to hearing from our Director of Impact & Development, Anita McCallum, who will be speaking during the evening about The Solicitors’ Charity and the support we provide to solicitors throughout their careers and beyond.
We’ll also be helping attendees capture the memories by sponsoring the event’s magic mirror photo booth. We hope lots of you will stop by, take a photo and come and introduce yourselves to the team. We do love a photo booth opportunity – as this photo taken at last October’s Junior Lawyers Division riverboat gala revealed!

For us, events like these are about more than celebrating the profession. They’re an opportunity to connect with junior lawyers early in their careers and remind them that support is always available if life takes an unexpected turn.
Whether you need support with your emotional, professional, physical or financial wellbeing, The Solicitors’ Charity is here for every solicitor, whenever they might need us. We hope you’ll never need our help, but if you do, we want you to know exactly where to turn.
If you’re attending, we’d love to say hello. While you’re there, don’t forget to register for your free wellbeing pack and join The Solicitors’ Charity Register. It’s a simple way to stay connected with us, hear about our work and make sure you know where support is available throughout your career.
We can’t wait to spend the evening celebrating with the Cambridgeshire junior legal community and friends at CYPG!
