Why you’ll find us at The London Law Imperative
The Solicitors’ Charity is looking forward to attending the inaugural London Law Imperative on 15 September, hosted by the City of London Law Society and the City of London Corporation.
Bringing together senior leaders from government, regulators, clients and City law firms, the conference will explore the opportunities, pressures, and priorities shaping the future of City law. Discussions will cover topics including AI, business models, talent, leadership, and the rule of law.
For us, events like this are about more than listening to the conversation – they’re about being part of it. Meeting people across the legal profession gives us the opportunity to hear first-hand about the challenges they’re facing, share the work we’re doing, and raise awareness of the support available through The Solicitors’ Charity.
Whether someone needs support with their emotional, professional, physical, or financial wellbeing, every conversation helps us connect with the people we’re here to support. We’re also interested in letting people know how they can help promote or donate to the vital support we provide by:
- Joining our corporate giving scheme, Firm Friends, or considering us for Charity of the Year and any one-off donations;
- Keeping us top of mind as a destination charity for unclaimed client balance donations – complete with water-tight indemnity;
- Including our details in intranet pages so that employees can find independent and confidential help easily when they need it.
Anita McCallum, our Director of Impact & Development, will be at the Guildhall throughout the day, so if you’re attending, please do come and say hello. She’d love to meet you, hear your perspective on the future of the profession and tell you more about how The Solicitors’ Charity is supporting solicitors and their dependants, and how you can Play Your Part in supporting us.
Didn’t get an invite to The London Law Imperative? We’ll be attending a range of conferences, dinners, and networking events during September, October and November, so there will be plenty of opportunities to catch up with us. Take a look at our upcoming events to see where we’ll be next.
