Future Proof: Private Client Festival 2026 – Join us in Nottingham
On Thursday 4 June 2026, The Solicitors’ Charity will be attending Future Proof: Private Client Festival 2026, hosted by Nottinghamshire Law Society in collaboration with The Law Society at Binks Yard, Nottingham.
The new full-day event brings together private client practitioners, advisers and sector experts to explore the changing legal landscape through practical discussions, expert panels and networking opportunities. Sessions throughout the day will cover topics including:
- Modernising wills in an increasingly digital world
- Post-budget tax implications for clients and advisers
- Family protection and nuptial agreements
- Cross-border inheritance and international payments
- Governance and trustee support
- The future of private client practice and legal reform
We’re pleased that Nick Gallagher, CEO of The Solicitors’ Charity, will be speaking during the festival, sharing insight into how the charity supports solicitors throughout their careers and lives. Anita McCallum, Director of Impact & Development, will also be attending on behalf of the charity.
If you’re attending, we’d welcome the opportunity to meet you and talk about the support available to solicitors, the challenges facing the profession, and how we can continue building a more connected legal community. Events such as Future Proof provide an important space for sharing knowledge, discussing change within the sector, and strengthening professional relationships across the legal profession.
